ABOUT

South Walpole Community Preschool, Inc. is a school for children ages 2.9 to 6 years old. Established in 1965 as a mission of the South Walpole United Methodist Church, we became a separate corporation in July 1998.  The school is non-sectarian and non-profit.

At South Walpole Community Preschool we do not discriminate against race, religion, or family dynamics. Children do not need to be toilet trained to register.

The goals of the preschool are:

*To provide a safe, nurturing, age appropriate, environment that offers the children the opportunity to grow and develop emotionally, socially, and cognitively while helping develop a love for learning.

*To provide opportunities for social interactions among children and adults that will help foster early friendships and help develop communication skills.

*To plan and implement a curriculum that exposes the children to activities that help develop fine and gross motor skills and foster social and emotional development through small and large group activities, while ensuring all children in our care receive the necessary Kindergarten Readiness skills needed for a lifetime of learning.
